THE REQUEST FAILED BECAUSE OF THE REMOTE SERVER TOOK TO LONG TO RESPOND

Hi all,

I want to connect to my remote server but i'm facing this error(see picture attached), i'm able to ping and login using ssh but when i try to login using vclient i face this error.

Details:

Is a physical esxi server, installed in HP Prolient G8

ESXi 5.5 U1

Hi edcongolo

Are you trying to use the windows vsphere client to directly connect to the ESXi host?

Is there anything in the way? firewalls etc?

Can you telnet to the host using port 902? IIRC, this is the port used by vsphere client to connect to HOSTD on the esxi host.
