Im  trying to setup a virtual server using VMware esxi 6.0, during installation it says I have no network adapters, and  the process ends, so how can I find the correct network adapter and install it on a clean hard drive?

have you crated VM for this virtual ESXi host with proper hardware configuration.

you need 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and a vNIC with about 10 GB virtual disk.

in case, where amount of RAM configured for VM is less than 4 GB, it might end up with the message which you are facing.

or if the VM was configured without any vNIC then also you face the same message during installation of ESXi 6.

Do you mean that you are installing ESXi server under ESXi server or you are install ESXi server in new physical hardware? If the answer is in new physical server, what hardware did you use? some network card is not compatible with ESXi, and you have to add driver manually to ESXi image, or you can try install it with Rollup ESXi Image.

Hi,

Is the hardware you're using on the HCL? VMware Compatibility Guide - System Search

If it is, the drivers should be already installed.

If not you may need to create a custom ESXi install that includes the VIBs for your network devices. check out HOWTO: Create a Custom VMware vSphere 6.0 ESXi Image using PowerCLI – thecloudxpert.net whilst i use the SYNOLOGY SAN VIB in the example, you can use the same code for network devices.
