Provisioned storage = capacity of all Harddisk + RAM

We have wired issue in out infrastructure where some of the VM are showing

Provisioned storage = capacity of all Hard disk + RAM

for example,

VM general Information

RAM = 8 GB

VM HDD information

HDD 1 = 60GB            HDD 2 =  40GB            Total = 100GB

Provisioned storage

as per my knowledge provisioned storage should be 100 GB. and system showing 108 GB.

Let me know if we have any solution for it.

Additional 8 GB is being used for SWAP file. Your VM size in 100 GB, + you are using 8 GB memory.

Swap file size is similar to your Memory allocated to VM - Reservation.

We have recently change the SYS swap and VM swap datastore.
