Where does RSA authentication actually happen?

We want to setup RSA and use Access Points in our DMZ.

We have internal Connection Servers.

I want to know if the RSA actually happens at the DMZ access point, or does the traffic have to come all the way into the Connection Server FIRST, in order for the end-user to get the RSA prompt?

I want a stopping point in the DMZ.

I want you to pass RSA before you ever come in and hit a connection server.

It depends on where the RSA is installed.

If its internal, the AP will have to come in and talk to RSA.

If RSA is installed in the DMZ, then the AP can talk to it there.
