ESXi and USB Transfer

So, I have a 128GB USB Drive that is holding a 12 GB VM Template and some ISOs.  We have an ESXi host running 6.0 U1/U2 off site. 

I would like to ship this USB drive to the remote site have it plugged in by a user and this SSH over and transfer its contents to the Host Datastores.  How the heck do you do this?  Every blog I run into doesn't work because they are using 4.1 or 5.0 - surely, by this point VMware has made this process simple?

Any thoughts?

Can you please provide below details.

USB drive format NTFS / VMFS ?

Where you are going to connect ESXi or Windows server ?

If the USB NTFS, you connected target site any windows server

then transfer files using vsphere client. ( open the datastore in vsphere client and select upload icon)
