AppVolumes 3.0 - Cisco Jabber

Has anyone successfully captured Cisco Jabber for Windows in AV 3.0?  I'm having all kinds of issues.  I was able to do it with AV 2.9 and 2.10 but I keep receiving error 1317 when trying to capture the application.  If I am not capturing the app, it installs just fine.  My understanding is that during a capture, the install is redirected to the virtual disk used for capture.  This seems like a permissions issue of some sort to me.

Did you run AppCature as administrator? Also have you tried an elevated install of Jabber?

Yes I have tried both with the same results.

‌this is very interesting because the mechanism is essentially the same, the process is different. While capturing are you able to access that folder manually? Try to add a txt file there and see if you get an error. Does seem like permissions..

I'm having the same issue as well.  from what I gather its seems like the jabber client doesn't like the legacy style of "junction point" that's presented to it while the appcapture process is running.  I did confirm that I could install Jabber(Version: 11.5.2.31411) as a normal install without the appcapture process running.  I'm going to open up a ticket with VMware on this and will post back what they find.

If that is the case there is a fix in 2.11 that will address this. Release is coming soon.
