No seriously, VMWare boot just a few farts slower than on a real machine if you have your virtual machine stored on the internal or and fast external SSD.
Even though on my Macbook Pro 13 Retina my imported PC boots in 11 seconds opposed to the 9 seconds the real thing needs.
For a virtual machine quite impressive as is very usable apart from not being able to use Wi-Fi as network for both host and guest simultaneously as your Mac will not be able to resolve any wan address until the vm is shut down or suspended and VMWare Fusion is stopped.
