Google Chrome 49 cannot be captured

Hi,

I have a weird behavior when trying to create an AppStack with latest Chrome.

We use App Volumes 2.10 and Windows 2008 R2 in Desktop Mode for our VDI environment and as provisioning machine.

Everything works fine until I am done and I press "OK" in the App Volumes agent dialog box on provisioning machine, then the VM reboots and after that the Google Chrome application disappears from the provisioning machine!

The App Volume wizard states that the process was successful.

Anyone had similar problems?

Thank you.

Can you confirm whether Google Chrome was installed for 'All users' during provisioning?

Are you using the standalone or web installer? My suggestion is to always use the standalone installer.

Agree with Smoke. Also make sure to install as administrator (even with the Run as Administrator option).

Thing is that Appvolumes does not capture the Appdata of a user and Chrome has the tendency to install into the Appdata folder if you are not an admin user.

After installation, check to see if the shortcut points to Program Files instead of %APPDATA%.
