Please attach the vmware.log - it is missing in the log-bundle.

The failure indicates that some other piece of software on your host system is interfering with the operation of VMware Player – usually it's an antivirus or antimalware program which is at fault.

It looks like you have iolo System Shield (or some other iolo system monitoring software) installed on the host.  Can you try disabling it and see if that allows VMware Player to work?  Depending on the nature of the interference caused, it might even be necessary to uninstall the other software package in order for VMware Player to function correctly.

Cheers,

Hi,

I have tried both disabling and uninstalling "IOLO System Mechanic Pro" with no difference, it still crashes?

Any thing else I can try?

Thanks

There's definitely something on your system which is interfering with the mechanism we use for interprocess communication.  I don't have any immediate suggestions other than to see if you have any other security/antivirus/antimalware or network-enhancement software installed and to try removing any such software... Sorry.

Hi,

It would appear to be "Malware-bytes" that doesn't play nice with VMware player?

Shutting down Malware-bytes before launching VMware player seems to fix the issue for now.

Thanks
