I have a new user on Persona roaming profile and when he deletes a folder or file from his desktop, it re-appears in a minute or two. This is not be design. Any ideas?
Interval = 10 minutes
Override AD path = enabled
Delete Local Settings when Persona removed = enabled
Roam Local Settings = enabled
Just out of curiosity, is the folder the user is deleting a part of the public or all users profile? This would not be a persona issue at that point. I run into this all of the time because we issue folders and shortcuts through the public desktop profile to make sure all new users in a pool get everything from the pool on their desktop.
Here is the fling for the permissions check tool. It can be run as a specific user to make sure everything is healthy.

Beyond that, I would clone the user to a new user and see if the same issue exists.
The folder is user created on their profile/desktop. Its almost like the replication is happening in reverse.
When I have seen strange things like this, rebuilding the profile tends to fix it. Do you have admin access enabled to the persona folders? Have you run the permissions checker from the user's account against their folder?
Also, the windows event log on the desktop has a lot of information about the health of persona management for the user. Look through the application and system logs to see if it can give us any more information.
Similar issue has been fixed in 6.2.1.
Can you test using 6.2.1 or later version?
I can't find any thing in event logs, and the version we are on is 5.3.4. We have plans to go to 6.2 soon, but can't right now.
I also had a second user create a test folder on their roamed desktop, confirmed it was not Public desktop, and logoff. It sync'd it to the Persona profile. User logs on, folder is there with files, and they delete. UAC prompts them for admin permission. When I looked at the permissions on the local copy of the folder, even I can't read them or the ownership. Permissions on the Persona share version of the folder is correct.
Also, is the Flings web page offline? I can't get to it anymore. Getting a "Page not found" on the site.
