So here is my question. We have a customer requiring an app to run on a linux cluster that requires the five 9's uptime. Now all nodes in the cluster need access to a log on a shared file system in order to give the required uptime.
With all the extra work that needs to be put into this type of configuration and the extra features I would be losing. Why would I implement this type of solution and not just go physical? Losing SVMotion and a few other options in a mid to large environment doesnt seem to be a good idea? Any help would be greatly appreciated
This will be built on a 6.0 environment.
