Hi Guys,

I have question if I take and pass this exam VDCA550 before June 2, 2016 and retired on June 2, 2016 do still vmware recognized this certification? or this is no longer valid or recognizable any more?

Yes they do - I'm still recognised as a VCP2, VCP3, VCP4-DCV, VCAP4-DCA - and you can't take any of those exams these days.

June 2nd will be the last chance to gain the certification if you don't already have it.

will the VCAP-DCA550 still be eligible for VCIX DCV certification and thus by passing the design exam of VCIX exam gain VCIX-DCV title ?

You can check the VCIX6-DCV requirements for existing VCAP5-DCA/DCD holders here: VMware Certified Implementation Expert 6 - Data Center Virtualization

Retiring the exam for VCAP5-DCA won't change that - it just means you only have til June 2nd to gain the VCAP5-DCA in the first place.

short question is the 2nd June still valid for retirement of VDCA550? I don't see this on Pearson or under My VMware anymore. I could select a date after June 2 in rescheduling exam.
