vRA 6.2.1 Guest Agent Installation

Hi, I am trying to install the Guest Agent on a VM to turn into a template. It is a Windows 2008 R2 w/ SP 1. I tried following the documentation, but any time I tried to run winservice.exe -i -h IaaSFQDN:443 -p ssl, the application crash and nothing happens. I checked the event log and got the following error:

Unpack GugentZip_version into the C drive on the reference machine.

This produces the directory C:\VRMGuestAgent. Do not rename this directory.

You path seems to be wrong(C:\GugentZip_x64\VRMGuestAgent) remove the GugentZip_x64 folder and try.

Thanks

Hi!

Do you see two errors with Event ID 36888 and 36874 in event log?
