Cisco Configs for Management Network

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had a doc explaining the switch configs needed to setup separate management network. Explaining how to setup the cisco communities and expected vlan details. Seem to be running into multiple issues. These are all 1gb connections.

If you're using separated physical network interfaces for management, there is no many configs to do on switch side, just make sure configure the correct VLAN (if using), I recommend enable CDP and if using link aggregation take a look here: VMware KB: Sample configuration of EtherChannel / Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) with ESXi...
