I am setting up approval policies and for a VM reconfigure of memory in 2nd day operations and I need to give the approver the ability to alter the user requested RAM and then approve.
The approval policy is using - service catalog - resource action request - reconfigure
In the approval level I set can a RAM trigger (>16GB) but in the Approval form no fields shown in system properties.
So added in custom properties add VirtualMachine.Memory.Size
Now the approval email includes RAM field for the approver to add a value if required to try to override the user specified RAM change.
But vRA ignores the approver entered value and always just uses the user supplied original one.
Does anyone why this custom property is being ignored by vRA for a 2nd day operation.
Does any one have a better way of doing this ?
