Allocate multiple cores of host for single CPU on virtual machine

Hi,

Not sure if this is possible, but could not find this online.

An application in my virtual machine is only using one core and I would like to speed this up.

Adding more cores on this virtual machine doesn't make sense, therefor I would like to allocate multiple cores from the host that will act as a single core on the virtual machine.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Herman

Like already stated above, this is not possible, and you have two options:

1. buy a new CPU with a higher clock;

2. make your application work with multiple CPUs.
