There is no license assigned to the host.

Note that at moment the Host Client are just a experimental tool and should not be used in production environment, if you need use the Free Hypervisor license you will really need to use the vSphere Client.
Are you using the free license ? If yes, take a look here: https://labs.vmware.com/flings/esxi-embedded-host-client
- On ESXi hosts which are assigned a VMware vSphere Hypervisor license, all modification operations will fail silently. We are working on a solution to this issue.
At the moment there's no license assigned to it. The host was installed 4 days ago.
Try assign a license other than the free hypervisor license and try create the VM again.
At the moment I have no other license available for testing. I will consider something.
I just tried the vSphere Windows Client. There I can create a VM.
That means at the moment a have to use the Windows Client or buy a payd license to use the Host Client?

Thank you very much. I wanted to use this in my lab environment.
In the future i still need a payd license to use the host client?
Today i installed another ESXi 6.0 server without license (60 days test period). Then I installed the Host Client and creating/editing VMs works without a problem. I think the problem on the other server is not related to a license problem.
