VMplayer failed install hcmon driver

After trying everything to deal with "MSI failed"

I extract the msi to a dir.

and use windows cmd.exe

• RUNAS /USER:administrator cmd.exe
• vmwareplayer_x86.msi EULAS_AGREED=1 /log installerror.log

and now

i got "failed to install hcmon driver

i had googling several hours and got nothing Orz

Can someone help the poor boy, thank you!!!!

I have also seen this issue when another non-release build (ex. obj, beta) of a VMware application which uses this driver is installed, but these should never be available outside of VMware Engineering.
