Which Windows 10 Version? 64 or 32 bit?

I am going to be running Fusion 8 on my mid 2012 macbook retina pro. Bootcamp officially supports Windows 10 64 bit as stated by apple for this machine.

Is it safe to assume I can also run Windows 10 64 bit in Fusion?

Yes it's safe. I'm using the 64 bit version too.

Yes, requirements for Fusion 8 to even work is having a 64 bits processor.

OS X has all been 64 bits only since OS X Lion (there are no 32 bit variants)

All my Windows 8.x and Windows 10 machines are all 64 bit.   The only issues that

you may run into is the "signed device driver" requirement for 64 bit Windows OSes.
