Bug Report: VMware Fusion 8.0.2 on El Capitan 10.11.1 and Windows 10 x64 (from BOOTCAMP)

After the BOOTCAMP virtual machine is paused and then later un-paused the USB "smart connection" mechanism which asks where to connect a new USB device stops asking (for any new USB devices). The "smart connection" is restored if I shut down that virtual machine and then restart it, so my feeling is that the problem is with the virtual machine (and probably VMware Tools inside) not re-registering the VM with the real machine after the un-pause.

Hi,

Thanks for your posting. It seems the USB plug in action was remembered. Could you have a check on USB settings ( VM -> Settings -> Bluetooth & USB devices).

See if your USB devices were listed in this pane. And check the plug in action. If the plugin action is "ask what to do". Then you will get the USB "smart connection" again.

Thank you.
