Salve a tutti, mi sto perdendo in via forse in un bicchiere d'acqua inutile, ma vorrei implementare un dvswitch dedicato alla parte iscsi per gli storage synology.

Prima usavo degli standard vswitch, ora purtroppo, mi sono bloccato su questo errore e non so come rimetterlo in dima

Mi viene da reinstallare tutto l'ambiente virtuale, ma forse esagero.
Qualcuno sa darmi qualche indicazione al riguardo di questo messaggio, quando provo a guardare le proprietà del terminatore iscsi software? Call "IscsiManager.QueryBoundVnics" for object "iscsiManager-23887" on vCenter Server "192.168.182.1" failed.

ho già rimosso il dvswitch dedicato all'iscsi.

Risolto così:

1. Disabled the iSCSI software adapter (copying iqn and settings to onenote/notepad first) --- DON'T reboot yet.
2. Winscp to the host using SFTP -> navigate to /etc/vmware/vmkiscsid/ and copy the contents to your workstation
3. Once copied, delete the contents in /etc/vmware/vmkiscsid/
4. Reboot the host
5. Create a new software iscsi adapter - > write over the IQN with the old one we copied earlier
6. Add iscsi port bindings and targets.

If you use chap, you will also need to know that password and reconfigure that as well. If you don't, disregard.
