Running VM Workstation Player 12.0.1
The guest OS Windows 10 Home x64 was updated from 10240 (TH1) to 10586 (TH2), and now the Shared Folders does not work.
VMware Tools 10.0.1
Anybody else seen this problem? Any solutions.

The issue was noted and resolved here: Shared Folders - Windows 10 upgrade from 15.11.
The short answer: UNINSTALL VMWARE TOOLS - REBOOT GUEST OS - REINSTALL VMWARE TOOLS
Observation: even a repair of the VMware installation wasn't enough
