Error on vmkload_mod

Hello,

I have received the following error on loading a module. What does this mean ?

vmkload_mod: Can not load module Dta: Module does not provide a license tag

On searching the vmkernel.log, I see a more detailed log :

Elf: 2822: Kernel based module load of Dta failed: Module does not provide a license tag <ElfSetLicense failed>

Can you paste the vmkerne.log snippet or vmware.log.?

Hi,

That does not state the module name, could you check the above logs for the same and see what module is it trying to load.?

Did u tried vmkload_mod -l
