Can we Investigate virtual machine file locks on ESXi/ESX

Hi All,

  Can we Investigate virtual machine file locks on ESXi/ESX and release the locks from power cli ?

1)Identifying the locked file

2)Locating the lock and removing it

If you are referring to a procedure as described in KB10051, there are some tools that use private APIs in there.

So I'm afraid it's not possible to automate the complete process (without using SSH and plink.exe)
