Multi Monitor support

Is it possible to support multiple monitors with servers requested out of vRA?  The remote console does not, remote desktop is more stretched.  I saw there is an option to allow connections through VDI, is that the key? Use the horizon view client?

I can't find anything mentioning this in any documentation.  Can someone point me int he right direction possibly?

Remote access support is really a topic that is outside of vRA unless you are talking about the remote console. As you've identified, that has its limitations. It is intended to give you out of band access to the machine not a full featured remote access tool. You shouldn't have a problem with RDP. That is how I access most machines and do not have problems with multi-monitors. You may need to modify the video card settings in your template machine to support multiple monitors or more video memory for higher resolutions.

I have thought of using view as a solution for users to access their machines but I will warn you, it is quite an undertaking. To integrate with view it is all orchestrator workflows. You will need to add the machine to a pool and adjust the user's entitlements on provisioning and decommissioning to provide them access to the machine through view. There is not a native integration that I am aware of. If it is a video memory issue view will not necessarily solve this for you. Another drawback I found is View OS support. You will only be able to offer VDI access to machines that are supported by the view agent. That list is available in the View documentation.

I would take a step back to your template and adjust the video card settings of that until you can RDP to it sufficiently with multi-monitors then you will not have a problem with vRA managed machines from that template. Hope that helps.
