Thanks for the links. I had found those too but they are old and of no value. It has version 4.6 of hyperic and version 2.6 of vfabric-tc-server-standard which is no longer supported. And just to add to this, there has been some product name changes that is not reflected in here.

Not sure what this link is supposed to provide. It has the following statement.
"On the platform on which the vCenter Hyperic server is being installed, run yum install vfabric-hyperic-server"
This has no value unless you have a repository defined that contains the package.
Using the "yum repolist" command you get a list of repositories that contain packages. When new versions become available I can use "yum update" and the new version will be installed. The repository contains the rpm's.
