how to remove a datastore from VCD 5.5.2

can you please tell me the steps to remove datastore from VCD 5.5.2?

I can see the option to disable the datastore but there is no delete or remove option in VCD 5.5.2.

ensure that vCD shows no provisioned space in Manage and Monitor, then remove the tag corresponding to the storage policy/profile the datastore from the vSphere client.

Then remember/note, vCD doesn't care about individual Datastores.

it asks vCenter .... what Datastores belong to Storage Policy/Profile named "Gold"? (or whatever it's called)

vcenter responds with a list of Datastores which match the Policy/Profile.

vcenter knows this association based on the Storage Policy/Profile looking for specific tags on the Datastores.
