Unity mode and windows 10 not working

So I finally got Windows 10 to install by using the .iso workaround but Unity mode does not work right. The Windows desktop shows over the Mac desktop more like fullscreen mode. Any timeline as to when this will be fixed?

i agree.  parallels has a great UI and ease of use.  not that fusion doesn't.  and it's quick response to the windows 10 update is a plus.  unfortunately, parallels doesn't care too much about their customers or bug reports.  there's been a bug since version 8 that doesn't allow for applescript throughput to windows applications.  i've spoken with their tech team on multiple occasions and they are not that concerned.  even with multiple people complaining on their forums...they just don't care.

I have not used Parallels in a while and the true test will be once I install the only Windows program I still use (Autocad 2008). I hope it works as good as Fusion in that area. The Fusion install is decent but compared to Parallels it is not nearly as easy to use. I think the big difference is the company making Parallels only has a few products based around parallels. VmWare has so many other products it takes me a while just to find Fusion in the Community area. I imagine Fusion doesn't have the same priority that Parallels does for their companies. I would guess thats one of the reason they didn't release the new version along with the Windows 10 release? Theory crafting ...

Wow Parallels even does a Netplwiz to get rid of the login screen. Things I do anyways but its nice to see it done before I even touch it.

Hi,

I can confirm the same issue with my installation

a. Host = Mac OSX 10.10.5

b. Guest = Windows 10

c. Tools have been reinstalled.

my desktop is back Smiley Happy yeaaaa . I recommend setting the view to single window or full screen. It kinda freaks out if you update in unity mode. Once the tools reinstall you can go back.
