I have installed a new Windows 7 guest using HTML5 console. However during the setup there was no mouse control in the console and had to be done using the keyboard only. This was both in the pop-out window and in a new window. Closing and reopening the console window did not fix the issue, and I had to complete the install using VMRC. After VMware tools were installed mouse worked correctly.
Secondly had a few occasions when the re-draw of the HTML5 console stopped working. Re-opening the console solved the problem.
Browser was Google Chrome on Windows.
