How to hide VMPlayer window in Unity mode?

Hi all,

My Host - Ubuntu 14.04

My Guest VM - Windows 7

I start VM in background using vmrun utility:

~$ vmrun -T player start /home/alx/vmware/office/windows-7.vmx nogui

~$ vmrun -T player list

Total running VMs: 1

/home/alx/vmware/office/windows-7.vmx

I have shortcat on Host desktop that starts MS Word application from VM in Unity mode.

The problem is that when I start Word application, it automatically brings up VMPlayer window:

unity-player.png

Is there a way to disable or hide this VMPlayer window when VM runs in Unity mode?
