Windows 10 Preview: 2560x1440 screen resolution missing

I am running the latest image of W10 Pre x64 under VMware Fusion 7.1.1 on a MacBook Pro 15" (mid 2012; Yosemite; lightning monitor).

Everyting in German.

So far no issues.

The only thing that is massively boring me is that exactly the native screen resolution of my monitor (2560x1440) is missing which is not the case with WXP, 7 or 8.

I have found tips in the Internet how to add screen resolutions to previous versions of Windows (Vista, 7) which are essentially based on modifications of the Registry.

However, here I failed, since I was not able to locate in W10 any of the required Registry entries.

Either Microsoft have altered them or they are simply no longer/not yet present.

I haven't observed this under Windows 8.1 with W10 Pre x 64 running under VMware Workstation.

If you have this issue in VMware Fusion set the "Scaled high resolution" to "All View Modes". By default it is set to "Unity Only"

To get there : From the VMware Fusion's menu bar, navigate to "Virtual Machine" | "Settings" | "Display"

Thanks for the tip, but I'm not having the issue on a Mac computer. It's a Toshiba Satellite running Windows 10 with Intel Graphics 4600. Any chance you might be able to help me out?
