v7 not saving screen position

When I suspend and then later restart a guest, Player is positioning  the window what looks like 200-pix right and 200-pix down form the previous X-Y-points.

I have tried shutting the guest down thinking it might be storing it then, but same thing happens on restart. I need the window to be in the same place on the host machine's screen every time.

This has just started happening after the latest update. Is there an option I am missing?

OK solved it myself - again - after about 6-hours searching the web.

Not really what I would call a help or support system here.

Please realize that this forum is a User-supported forum, not an official Support channel for VMware.  There *are* VMware employees that do monitor and answer posts, but not all the time.  So most of the readers are people just like you, who may or may not have ever encountered the problem.

I have similar problem - player 7 is not restoring full screen mode after suspend. And full screen mode button doesn't work correctly unless I click maximize first. I think this can be the same bug.
