How do i get my VMs back from Azure to on Prem vSphere

My client wants to know the fastest way to get their Azure Public cloud Windows VMs back to our Conventional in site vSphere 5.5 . ASAP.

The only two options I can think of is >

1 > Use VMware converter over the Internet , for MS VMs that have internet facing IPs , this will be slow , and kill our poor proxy .

2 > Pull it down to on site Hyper-V , and then use VMware converter . Probably better , as they have VPN connection between cloud .

Any other options ? I would LOVE to show them VMware has a mechanism for this ?

Those are the only 2 options I know of myself.  Only other option might be if Azure has a way to export OVF format you could do that an import it in.
