Bug in 2.7 and 2.9 Writable Volume profiles

There will be a patch released for this but to let everyone know sooner than later the below command needs to be run on an agent machine to get the profiles to work on a Writable volume. And YES Writable Volumes are still fully supported in 2.7 and 2.9.

reg.exe add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\svservice\parameters /t REG_DWORD /v VolDelayLoadTime /d 0 /f

Is this required only for the profiles to work or should this be implemented on all writable volumes?

Hey,

It is only meant as a solution for the profiles. What happens now is if you have the 2.7 or 2.9 agent installed is that the ntuser.dat doesn't seem to be merged into the registry and thus not saving (or at least executing) your personal settings.. You only need to execute it if you have profile only or UIA+profile writable volume template.
