Nested ESXi 5.5 host

Hello,

I have a test environment: few virtual ESXi 5.0 hosts and several VMs there.

Virtual ESXi are running on a physical ESXi 5.0 server. Everything worked fine.

Upgraded physical server to 5.5, then upgraded virtual ESXi to 5.5. Upgraded hardware to version 10 on virtual ESXi.

I can power on any VMs however none of them is pingable. Even can not ping default gateway from VM.

Appreciate any feedback

what NIc are you using? e1000?

try using different NIC models VMXnet3 or E1000E

Try this: In the virtual swith to which the virtual machines are connected enable Promiscous Mode in the virtual switch properties.
