vSphere 6.0: After changing ip lookup is not working

Hi,

I have change my vc ip, after that lookup is not working due to SslHandshakeFailed.

If someone suggest quick workaround ,it would be very helpful.

Can you please get the lookup url working : https://<IP address>:7444/lookupservice/sdk


also try to re register the vcenter and its component so it will start reflecting. VMware KB: Re-pointing and re-registering VMware vCenter Server 5.1 / 5.5 and components

Url is giving error ServerFaultCode.

I have tried the KB as well...nothing worked Smiley Sad

This is an extremely uncommon error. It indicates that the provided IP address or FQDN which resolves to the Single Sign On host was not the one used when installing Single Sign On.
In
%TEMP%\VM_ssoreg.log , locate the line containing the error:

hostname in certificate didn't match: <install-configured FQDN or IP> != A or B or C

Where A was the FQDN entered when Single Sign On was installed and B and Care system-generated allowable alternatives.
Correct the configuration to use the FQDN on the right of the not equal to ( !=) sign. In most cases, use the FQDN specified during Single Sign On installation. If none of these options are possible, recover your Single Sign On SSL configuration.

I checked that log file is not available in 6.0 ...
