Thanks for providing the log and crash report. The crash report confirms that you're encountering the same problem described over in VMware VMX Crash Running Win 10 x64 Build 10074: The latest build of Windows 10 is issuing an ATA command that we weren't expecting to see on an AHCI port. We're working on a fix.
Hi dariusd - thanks for your reply. I did notice this happening since a few builds prior to the latest 10074, I believe the first time i encountered this was with version 10049 if that helps any. Please keep me updated via this thread and let me know if you need be to provide any additional info to assist in rectifying this issue. I am more than happy to help and test.
I've updated the other thread (VMware VMX Crash Running Win 10 x64 Build 10074) with the latest information about the issue. Hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer for a fix.
