Workstation 11 Restricted Management Server can not be connected.

HI,

I use the vmware workstation 11 's restriction function.

but I got the error as below , When I connect the management server.

Restrictions type: managed

Management server : https://rvm.vmware.com

error : This is not a management server  (like attachment png file)

What should I config the management server is ?

The Management server address is the time server by default, if you want to use the time server, you should change the Restriction type to "Fixed" .

The "managed" type is used for flex not for workstation.

Q1: What can I use the software or service with this "managed" function?
       That function is like old vmware product VMware ACE Server to control VM security?

Q2: What VMware Product can replace the VMware ACE Server ?

The VMware ACE Server go out now, I think you can control VM security by encryption function.

The "Managed" function is designed for product FLEX, you can navigate http://www.vmware.com/products/horizon-flex to know about FLEX, and download trial version.
