Error backing up ESXi 5.5 using vicfg

I am trying to backup our ESXi server configuration using the vicfg-cfgbackup.pl command but I keep receiving the error "bad hostname" after entering the password. Here is my screen output. What am I doing wrong?

C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware vSphere CLI\bin>vicfg-cfgbackup.pl --server

=192.168.75.18 --username=root -s c:\ESXi_test1_backup.txt

Enter password:

Error connecting to server at 'https://=192.168.75.18/sdk/webService': Bad hostn

ame

C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware vSphere CLI\bin>

Is 192.168.75.18 the correct IP for your ESXi host (no typos etc.) and is this up and running?

Probably you have an error in the commandline you entered, the error message prints "https://=192.168....

The '=' in front of the IP is wrong, maybe you have entered --server==192.168....?

Just tried it myself and it works here without any issue. Maybe try to install the latest vSphere CLI package: vSphere CLI for vSphere 5.5 - VMware Developer Center
