vm storage vmotion

guys,

I need to storage vmotion a machine, from old storage to new storage, I have done storage vmotion on other machines but this one i'm a bit concern as the vmdk are thick and the old datastore has only 2GB left of space, if I start the migration process, will having so little space be an issue?

Not a big issue, but confirm if your VMs on the old datastore have snapshots and try remove them, just to avoid the datastore fill up.
