VCP5-DCV Exam Blueprint is 26 Pages - How to Prepare?

The VCP5-DCV exam blueprint is extremely ominous clocking in at 26 pages!

Though I will be taking the Fast Track[5.5] course later this year, I'm concerned that there is just too much information to cram into my memory when I take the exam.

Can anyone provide suggestions on how to prepare for an exam that covers such an exhausting list of categories?

The blueprint does provide references to VMware documentation for related categories but some of those documents are hundreds of pages long.

I'm just beginning to get acquainted with this certification and already find myself in a state of information overload.

Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks!

Think about the sorts of questions you could ask or be asked about each of the objectives, and use the software and the documentation to research the questions you come up with - you don't need to read the documentation from cover to cover.

You can find practice exams on some blog sites, or you can buy the one created by MeasureUp: VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) (VCP550)

Do a search for "vcp550 study guide" and you'll find blogs and books that will help focus you on the specific objectives.

Thanks Scott. This will be my first certification and it looks like I've chosen a tough one to start with.

Your suggestions will be useful.
