VCP 4.1 recertification

Hello,

I currently have VCP 4.1 DCV certification and I know that this will be expired after May 8.

As far as I understand, for recertification I need to pass (for example) VCP550 exam and take 2-days official course What's mew [V4.X to v5.5].

Is my understanding correct? If yes, is it possible to take course after this deadlie - May,8 with passed VCP exam before this date? This is kind a critical for me as there are no [whats new] courses available in my town before May,8.

Thanks in advance,

Nikolay

So you have VCP4-DCV right? (there is no VCP 4.1)

You can recertify in lots of different ways, but it sounds like you want to take VCP550 which will give you VCP5-DCV as well as recertifying your VCP4-DCV.

All you need to do before the expiry date is pass VCP550 (or VCP510), no training required.

Have a look at Path 2 here: (VCP5-DCV) VCP-Data Center Virtualization
