    Annoying SPAM and Stop Tracking NOT working

      Somebody needs to fix the SPAM on this board and anyone have ANY idea why stop tracking is NOT working!?

          They should do something, is unbearable correso receive so many people that all he does is generate spam.

            If you're annoyed by the email notifications (which I'd totally understand... the spammers have been super annoying in the last few days!), you need to use the Stop email notifications selection on the right, not the Stop Tracking option.

              I am doing, but does not work stop notices, stop, close session, again and again enter the option of receiving emails is enabled. It is one my problem?

                Tried both.  Mine actually shows "Receive email Notifications", so I 'shouldn't' be getting e-mails, but I am.

                 

                I've tried clicking it, then clicking the Stop email Notifications, but it continues.

                  Sorry about the recent deluge and please know that we take the spamming problem seriously.

                  We have resources in India that watch and clean spam up daily.  We also have moderators who do

                  their part.


                  We've removed spam documents and are looking at additional

                  ways to combat the problem. So far we were able to dramticly reduce spam in

                  our blogs and PM¹s by requiring a minimum point value which is low enough

                  to achieve and not impact the community but high enough to combat

                  spammers. The only areas that we could not do this with is discussions &

                  documents because these are the first items customers create on the

                  platform.

                   

                  We're working to reduce the spam in these two areas as well and working

                  with IT to resolve them. As was mentioned, in addition to L2 support in India we have VMTN

                  moderators that take care of this as well, one even has a script running

                  against the VMTN RSS feed which he¹s setup to alert him the second a

                  suspected spam item is posted.

                   

                  We definitely have seen the uptick in spam in the past few weeks,

                  especially in the CloudCred community, and are combating it.
