VCP550 certification

Hi, I have attended Vmware ICM 4.0 years back and missed to attempt the exam. However, I managed to authorize for VCP550 using the 4.0 candidate ID and  passed the exam. But, I did not receive the certificate from VMware. I reached out to them and was informed to do What's new 4.0 to 5.5 course to get the certification from Vmware.

May I know the cost of What's new 5.5 course in India? Anyone planning to do this course in India? Because, the vmware authorized training centres require atlease 3 members to organize the classes.

Is there any other way of doing the course ? because I need to do this as soon as possible to get my VCP certification.

Not sure about the cost. However, maybe a Live Online course might be something to consider (see VMware vSphere: What's New [V4.x to V5.5]) if no classroom courses are available in your area.

I dont see any trainings available in India.. Also, the course fee varies for countries...

There are no Classroom classes on the open schedule in India, but there are more classroom offerings available in other countries.

I would expect the cost to be less in India.

For classroom training, you can use this tool to search for VATCs in your area: VMware Education - Courses by Location

Location is less important for availability of live online training as students can be anywhere in the world relative go where the training is being hosted - this is the most likely way you will find the training you need, but the cost may be higher and you might have to be flexible on the time of day you are available.

Training providers will be making the switch to vSphere 6, so move quickly as the 4.0 > 5.5 classes will only become more rare from now on...

An alternative is to take a different vSphere 5 class - you could do ICM, Optimize & Scale, or the Troubleshooting Workshop - these classes might be scheduled more frequently than What's New in India.
