The main two ways you'll hear the NSX Edges referred to is as either the centralised Edge Services Gateways (ESG) or Distributed Logical Routers (DLRs).
The 'TLR's' depicted in your other thread seemed to be ESGs. TLR isn't a term I've seen in NSX documentation really but the role could probably be provided by either DLR or ESG in theory, depending on the design.
