What are the benefits in the execution of type 1 virtualization platforms (bare-metal) nested in type 2 virtualization platforms (hosted)?

Hey,

home labs benefit from it.

You don't have to buy expensive hardware that is listed on the HCL.

You can even use a laptop to try out ESXi inside a VM.
