TIA Portal whith virtual machine WmWare : Devices accessible with NAT network

Hello,

We using virtual machines for develop/maintain Siemens applications.

While we put de VM in bridged mode, we don"t have any problem with de "find accessible device". But when we put them in NAT mode, there is no possibilities to find our devices.

In the two cases, we can ping devices. "The problem" is really in "Tia accessible device"

(We have to use NAT mode because our IT compagny doesn't permit to have two mac adresses on 1 switch port (only 1 mac by ethernet cable) ).

Someone have an idea to solve this problem?

Thanks by advance.

You will need to create NAT rules.  Based on the chart that I found here, I would create the following entries:

102

2308

50523

34964

  1. Click on Edit
  2. Virtual Network Editor
  3. Change Settings
  4. Pick the NAT'd network (typically VMnet8)
  5. NAT Settings
  6. Add
  7. Fill out the appropriate forms
