VCP5-DCV & VDP5-DT renewal

Hi,

Left it to the last minute but I am trying to get my current qualifications renewed.

I have sat the VCP550D (delta exam) this morning and passed.  I then looked at the path to renew my Desktop certification which says to sit the VCP550D exam which I have scheduled.  Looking at the blueprint etc this exam seems to be a combination of vsphere and horizon view which seems a bit unfair to me since I have already somewhat satisfied the DCV requirements.

Is there an exam I can sit just purely on Horizon View 5.5? if so what are my options, as mentioned I've already booked/paid for the vcp550d exam but knowing what is involved I am not confident I can prepare in time.

If you passed the VCP550D this morning (and you had previously passed the VCP510) then you don't need to re-certify for 2 years.

If you want a View-specific exam you will need to wait for the VCP6-DT "elective exam" mentioned in the 2015 roadmap

All your VCPs are recertified by you having passed VCP550D, nothing else is required for another 2 years now.
