Getting cannot access your applications or desktops from the web client!

When am login here "VMware Horizon View HTML Access" am getting "You cannot access your applications or desktops from the web client. Please install the VMware Horizon Client, version 3.0 or later."

But i can access apps and desktops from connect using VMware Horizon View desktop client", Anyone help what i am missing....

Hosted Apps is not supported using HTML access currently, not through Horizon Workspace or Horizon View.

As the error message says, you need to use the Horizon View Client 3.0 or later

Actually installed VMware-viewagent-x86_64 and merged connection server, next hosted and enabled entitle for the RDS  desktop pool, then i am going to access the HTML access.

As the error message says, you need to use the Horizon View Client 3.0 or later.

You can not use HTML access with Hosted Apps currently.

Thanks to replay Linjo, Have a question we can only publish desktop vm only or otherwise we can publish used to physical desktop m for blast html access.

I don't think HTML access is supported for physical desktops but I have not tried.

There was some added features in HTML-access in the latest 6.0.1 version that was released the other day.

I had the same problem and I found that I missed the HMTL Access checkbox in the Desktop Pool. Now I can access from a remote browser the desktop. Smiley Happy

Hi Linjo,

I have the same error as this post. I am just trying to access the desktop, not any applications. I have enabled the pool for HTML access but still get the message.  Any other ideas?

Hi Sennen69,

After you enabled HTML access in the pool, did you have to reboot or reprovision your desktops?

I still get the error even though I enabled the pool for HTML access.

No bacically click on the OK to end the editing and retied the remote login.

Is it available now with HTML Access 2.6 for RDS desktop pools? (hosted & remote apps)
