VCOPS 6.0-MP vCAC (6.0.2435891) Collector Configure

Hi Folks,

Anyone out here install and configure the new MP vCAC (6.0.2435891) ?

I am stuck with the configure of vCAC collector credentials. Not sure as to SuperUser for vCAC Appliance ?

No supporting documentation.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Super user need some special privilege. It is defined in the vRA MP documentation.

The super user must have the following privileges:

1. Infrastructure administrator rights for all tenants.

2. Tenant administrator rights for all tenants.

3. Fabric group administrator rights for all fabric groups, in all tenants.

I'm having the error during establishing connection. Did anyone got it working...?

Unable to establish a valid connection to the target system. Failed to get information from tenant vsphere.local.null

Tenant "vsphere.local.null"? Default tenant name should have been "vsphere.local". Could you please double check your default tenant configuration.

Are you able to login to that tenant from web browser?

"vsphere.local.null" is turned out to be a wrong formatted message.

Please check the URL which you provide when configuring adapter instance. It should be in this format https://www.my.vcacserver.com

Getting a different error this time

Unable to establish a valid connection to the target system. Failed to login to IaaS.: 403 Forbidden

For super user, you have to have a separate user from identity store which will have all following roles assigned:

1. Infrastructure administrator rights for all tenants.

2. Tenant administrator rights for all tenants.

3. Fabric group administrator rights for all fabric groups, in all tenants.

After fixing the role, the connection was successful.
